Counselling including:

Pregnancy Counselling (concerns about a current/past pregnancy/loss) are bulk billed with a letter of referral from your GP to me and your medicare card..so no cost to you. This service provides safe, confidential and unbiased support and information about pregnancy, options and services and includes pregnancy loss support. Medicare Item 81005. Most local GPs know about this service for 3 bulk billed counselling sessions.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling can be provided at no cost to you with your Employer consent or under your employer's EAP Program. Check with your Manager or HR Department. Or, check your employment intranet site for info about how to access your employer's EAP. EAP counselling is usually available for support for personal or work issues and is also usually available for the worker and the worker's significant family members.

Other Counselling is provided at $100/session.

I have worked with clients for over 30 years in a variety of settings. I majored in Sociology in my undergraduate Degree prior to achieving my Master of Social Work. I am a current member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). The AASW is the professional organisation that oversees the training standards and ethics for Social Workers in Australia. Over the years I have also had the opportunity of attending accredited training addressing many of the issues for which clients seek support.
