Mothers Milk Brighton

Cozy and unpretentious, much less blokey than its Windsor counterpart, I sauntered in for a drink with friends. Two hours later we were still there, laughing and gossiping and chatting with the friendly staff. A cozy nook to grab a drink any time.

Imagine my delight when I first went to the Palace Cinema Brighton Bay and walked outside to see a Mother's Milk just across the road. When I first arrived in Melbourne I spent quite a lot of time in the one in Windsor, and here was a cousin right across the road from where I was standing. So, without any hesitation I went straight across the road and ordered a drink. Sure, this isn't the one in Windsor but it was still just as good, and they were playing the same relaxed beats that I remember on that first weekend I arrived. Once again, whenever I make my way down to Brighton for a movie I will not leave without gracing this place with my presence, though the last time I was here it was much quieter than the first time. Still it was pretty cool and I am sure to come here again.

Went here for a beer last Friday, very cosy place. The guy that served me was very friendly, asked me about my day and everything. Unlike other bars it wasn't too loud so I could actually hear the bar staff. I'm sure we'll end up there again next time!
