Moulin Noir

The BEST strong soy latte in Pt Melbourne! A hidden gem, the cosy atmosphere hooks you in and you want to linger..... Tried the egg white omelette which was amazing!

Disappointing ! Coffee average, food poor, service "you could say.....what service", not to mention pricy. A simple brunch for 2 cost $45. Walk on by I'd say!

Cute cafe... However, the muesli constantly changes which is very frustrating. Some consistency would be great!!

Great brunch and lovely service

One thing we don't seem to have lots of in this area is cozy, comfy places. Which is one of the reasons I like Moulin Noir so much. Instead of sleek, contemporary white and glass, this tiny neighbourhood haunt is all European style and warmth, with a lovely lounge in the back to hunker down in, or homey tables to gather around. The coffee is good, the breakfasts superb and though I've tried only a few of the tasting plates, they were exceptionally tasty. Proprietors Nadjib and Dana are, one or the other, almost always on site in the thick of it, and ready with a smile and a welcome. (Dogs are always welcome at the footpath tables outside too - water bowl at the ready.)
