Mount Evelyn Christian School

Love, Love, Love MECS! My oldest son was at this school from Year 6 to Year 12. He completed VCE in 2013 with a great result. I have two other children attending the school. My daughter has been there since Prep and she is now in Year 7 and my other son is in Year 9. My children have never complained about going to school and that is saying something! The teachers are amazing, friendly and approachable. I love the Christian nurturing and the fact that each child's gifting, talents and uniqueness is recognised and appreciated. Our children are taught in a beautiful environment by beautiful people. I highly recommend Mount Evelyn Christian School.

MECS provides Christ-centred schooling that recognises that each child is wonderfully made with different gifts and abilities. The teachers and staff are friendly, deeply committed and passionate about their role in the school and its community. My two children have both completed the Primary School phase and have enjoyed the many challenges and supported learning experiences during this time. They have now moved into the Middle School where through relationship-building with teachers and self-awareness, they are being challenged to understand the way they work, think, behave and communicate. I personally love the welcoming, friendly atmosphere of the school and enjoy being part of its community.

Love how the teachers listen to my knowledge of my children, and nurture them accordingly. MECS provides a caring environment that values the uniqueness of each child, expecting conformity where necessary but also respecting individuality of character. I have only experienced the primary school so far.

We love MECS, they provide fantastic Christian education for our children. The teachers and staff are wonderful and supportive and we couldn't ask for.

MECS is a wonderful school. I have 3 children that attend and they are so happy. The teachers are excellent, the grounds are beautiful and the culture and atmosphere are warm and welcoming.
