Mount Henry Tavern
Mount Henry Tavern in Como is a cosy bar with something for the whole family. There's a bistro serving a range of hearty fare including seafood, steaks, lamb and chicken dishes as well as a kids menu. There is a sports bar where live broadcasts are aired and you can place a bet or two, or retreat to the beer garden for a breath of fresh air.
Not as good as it once was. The Mt Henry Tavern is a nice place to grab a drink but the food is a little disappointing. I had the chicken parma which was way over cooked and on the small side. The options for Vegetarians are very limited offering only the choice of one salad or the potato cake which was underwhelming. The service is ok, the meal prices are quite pricey for the serving size that you get.
A great place to catch up with friends at lunch for a meal or a casual drink in the beer garden. There are loads of menu choices to choose from the cater for everyone's tastes including my Vegetarian friends. The fish and chips is my favourite, however their mid week Steak & Parma specials are great value as well. Very popular with families for their Sunday Roast. Very casual and relaxed for a lazy Sunday afternoon in the beer garden. Well patronised by locals in the area.
