Movenpick Ice Cream

Great icecream. It's not Gelato Messina but it's certainly up there on my list.

Premium quality ice cream- you can't go wrong! Love the flavours on offer especially their rum & raisin

Despite being a well-known brand, I can never seem to grasp the idea to consider Movenpick as one of my go-to places for ice creams and desserts, especially with Gelato Messina opening just around the corner.



Space wise, Movenpick Bondi Beach can be considered way larger than Gelato Messina, having a few seats inside the shops (that, in my opinion, were quite uncomfortable and was a little unhygienic to have the stools double as tables). Dcor wise, the shop has too bright of lighting that makes everything look like out-dated design.



In regards to the food, they are actually quite pricey with serving size being quite unfavourable. The ice creams were alright, waffles were a little bit underwhelming. All of this might explain why there are barely any customers coming into the shop.



I do expect a lot more from a global brand like them. I really hope they would improve.

Probably one of the best ice cream places I have ever visited (and I've been to Florence!)! Probably not the best idea to chomp into three scoops of espresso flavoured goodness at 11.45 in the evening, but it tasted so much like the real deal I couldn't help myself. A must, if you're in Bondi!
