Bad attitude.Bad work. Did a very suboptimal job with our landscaping. Very rushed, little care or attention to detail. Don't make the same mistake as us and avoid using at all costs! Worth paying more money with a reputable company for a better long term result. Would give a zero rating if possible. As you can see from below he also writes his own positive reviews.
I contacted them for a quote to do some wooden retaining walls, and they said it was no problem and sent a quote. Over the next few weeks They changed the plans a number of times. I was upfront about our budget and they claimed they could work within it.
When I wanted to book, they said they were not able to as they had other clients so I asked to book in advance. There were a number of red flags over the course of our discussions, culminating in me not being comfortable to continue the job. Boy am I glad I decided not to. I have just got off the phone where they were abusive, and have received a barrage of texts which are rude with offensive language. All of this because I said I didn't want to go ahead with their business and provided them with feedback to not tell their clients 'I don't really care in the end'.
Think carefully before you hire them.
Every small business has that 'one' customer, please meet mine! I have a string of 35 emails and 4 itemised quotes, which chewed up an excessive amount of my time. The customer kept reducing their budget and requesting new quotes. Yes the original plan to build retaining walls had to change because of the location of pipes running into the property and the constraints being placed on me regarding their small budget. So I came up with other alternatives (4 more quotes) and even went the extra mile by contacting a friend in real estate to see if we could reduce the commission on selling their property, to help them afford the job. Of course you cannot please everyone and this is one customer who was incredibly indecisive and even advised me that they may not have the money to pay after the job was completed. This is when alarm bells rang for me and I pulled the plug and told them I didn't want their business, as quite simply, they couldn't afford to landscape.
Fantastic and efficient service. James was genuinely interested in providing a quality service and took great pride in his work and worked well over and above expectations. His unassuming manner and honesty was hugely appreciated as it was a tough job to re-landscape my yard with new turf, retaining wall and new garden beds with plants. I would highly recommend using James.
