Mr Big Stuff Cafe

Mr Big Stuff café was created 9 years ago. The relaxed and casual dinning offers a café style fare menu. There are lots of flavours and the produce is seasonal. You will find such things as lasagne, ravioli, burgers and salads. The servings are known to be generous and reasonably priced. The courtyard and garden provides a great setting for dinning under the stars on a balmy summer’s night. The café is more than happy to accommodate for large groups to have a great night out as well.

The crowd inside made me think it was worth going in, but I was wrong. Their "dog friendly" sign means people arrive with dogs then let them off the leash to wander about at will. Nothing against dogs but not who I want to share my breakfast with. The big breakfast was reasonably expensive priced at $18 and was not great value. The spicy sausage was fatty and did not sit well, the cold cucumber and lettuce just so not needed on the plate, the homemade beans nothing special and the scrambled eggs not well cooked. Good coffee but for what it cost and to avoid dog poop obstacle course when leaving I won't be returning. Many other places to try to find something better.

A very funky cafe with super friendly staff serving well priced confort food prepared with the freshest of ingredients. Their is also a great little garden courtyard you can eat in.

If you're looking for somewhere to eat in Maroubra, this is the place. The food is reasonably priced, fresh and very tasty - I had a Chicken Caesar Salad with real anchovies that knocked my socks off. The owners are cool and laid back and so is the decor. You can eat inside or outside in their garden/courtyard - check out their small but perfectly formed tropical garden, of which I am most envious!
