I came for Nam Veng Noodles, one of my favourite noodle soup dishes but everywhere makes it differently
The dish here is about 80% to what I'm use too but I still liked it
The rice paper rolls though we're most impressive. Not only big in size and the rice paper is not chewy, the taste with the sauce is heaven
Service was pretty quick and prices are a little cheaper than expected, and it's one of the more busier places in that area,I wouldn't mind coming back!
Located in a convenient yet quiet area of Homebush West, Happy Chef is one of many Asian restaurants in the vicinity serving a strangely quiet area you would hardly seen elsewhere with similar cultural drop in Sydney . The shop is just steps off the train station and many people would recognise the name from many of their stores in Chinatown and elsewhere.
The shop is quite spacious. It has a very simple white ambiance atmosphere with slightly old-school chairs and tables that would not steal your focus from the reason you come to this place: to eat.
From a range of extensive but mostly similar offerings of Chinese and Vietnamese food, we ordered some from the two: hainan style chicken rice, the beef noodle soup, and pork chops with tomato rice. All dishes were of nice taste and quality and were of large serving sizes matching the price points. They were prepared quite quickly too.
The staffs were incredibly detailed and prompt.
