This place has now changed owners, but the great range of beers and wines and fantastic specials remain the same. Whether it be Peroni for $40 instead of $55 or even $60 in some places (or Becks or Heineken, depending on the week), or any of a number of quality Australian wines at very special prices (a Brokenwood Semillon for $12, for example), you'll always find a decent buy here. The 1.5L bottles of imported Italian reds and whites are great for quaffing, too. Friendly, helpful service to boot - literally. They're happy to carry it to your car for you should you need.
