Mr Mechanic Mobile Mechanics

Very poor had a mechanic come look at my car that would not start he couldn't figure it out even after talking on the phone for 40 min (on the clock too) he was also missing his test lights (told me he left it at home) he then took a wild guess telling me it was my distributor. charged me $150 for a diagnosis he then quoted me $700 for the distributor and told me they could not fix it to for 2 weeks cause couldn't find the parts.after he left I rung repco they had the part for $127 I brought it and replace it that day but my car still wouldn't start. I rung Mr mechanic saying they misdiagnose my car and asking if they could come give me a correct one they said they call me in 20mins to sort it out 1 hour later no call back, so I call them back they told me they would call in 45 mins 2 and half hours later still no call back. The mechanic turned up start of Jan to replace our brake pads, took the wheels of our van and took the parts away to source them. Said it would take 3-5 days, 1 week tops. I told their mechanic that we are hiring a car while we wait for the van to be fixed and leaving the country in a few weeks so need the van asap.

THREE WEEKS LATER! still no word! Once they didn't turn up after a week I started calling but could never get through, always went to voicemail. Finally 3 weeks later they rang me and told me they had 'forgotten' about the job, and by the way the parts are going to take another 3 weeks. So 6 weeks in total from when they took the parts to source (should take couple days max).
