Took 2 months to partially complete repairs (quoted 2 weeks), lost parts that were to be returned to me, and continuously lied about the progress of repairs and reasons for the delays. I will never use this company again and warn all other potential customers to avoid at all costs.
Took 2.5 weeks to repair & if I didn't call them I wouldn't of known my car was ready. When I picked up my vehicle the guy doing the handover mentioned I have some fresh bird poo on my bonnet (which I later found out was white paint, which was very noticeable on my car). I had to go back the next day & wait for it to be buffed off. I thought it was the last time I was going to be at this place but one month later they called to advise they have a part to be fitted for my car. 4 weeks later!! I was not told there was a part they were still waiting on when I picked up my car. I also moved and do not live close to Mansfield anymore. Very frustrating!
If your insurance is with RACQ this is where your car goes...well to one of their centers. Springwood in our case.
The most incompetent repairer we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
Charge the insurance company for parts they don't provide. Most of the phone calls have been met with utter rudeness!
A 14 day smash repair, is now up to 6 weeks, due to failture to order a boot spoiler at the time of assessment. They want me to pick up the car, pay the excess, before finish the car repairs. Not too happy the customer care :(
This is the second time MSR have had one of my cars and the second time its been a disaster. The first car took months, and had so many issues having to go back AT LEAST 5 times for them to fix their mistakes. This car has been there since mid May. Using the excuse of waiting for parts. 6 times i have had the Estimated Completion date moved back. First date was for 10th of June. It's now July 24 and I am STILL yet to have my car back, now with no clue of when it will be ready.
I was told I would be able to pick it up on July 22nd after speaking to a recpetionist the day before. July 22nd comes around, and i was told that no one told me that. They falsified what was recorded in their system, told RACQ and myself two completely different stories, with what was left to fix. ...read more
I have the exact same situation, missing parts, delays, I suspect they forgot to order the parts.
