This florist sold me old, torn/damaged roses. They were for my wedding, and they were so badly damaged it left me less than 24 hrs to replace them at my own expense. The Owner never returned my partner's phone call. The owners friend then proceeded to threaten me after writing a r/v on fb. Then then owner took her fb page down, threatened me with going to the lawyer alleging id harassed them - when all i had done was put a review review on their Facebook page. I'm well within my rights to place a review, and on as many sites as i chose to do. There is no law stating a person cannot write more than 1 review. Anyway, more than 1 month on after writing a review on fb and after id been threatened & intimidated by the owners friend, the business offer me a lousy $100 dollars back, less than 1/3 of my money back. We were treated very poorly by the owner and had her friends bully us too.
That was a very upsetting and intimidating part of our experience. The roses were absolutely disgusting, bruised and torn and I had paid for my order in full, before seeing my arrangements. I was devastated when I saw them, I asked to cancel the order and asked for a full refund (with the hope of finding something that day, elsewhere!) she refused any money back or off and said “I should get my eyes checked” I was gobsmacked with how rude she was! Please, take note of these negative reviews, we are saving you from the heartache we’ve experienced!

I wanted to buy some flowers as my mum had just been taken to hospital. I went into the florist and was greeted by the lovely lady who runs the shop. She gave me a few suggestions on what I could do and it really helped in my decision making. I got to choose what flowers went in and final arrangement was stunning. You can tell that these were beautiful fresh flowers straight from market. When I took them to mum she was so happy. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Mount Barker Blooms and Baskets, you’ve really brightened up everyone’s day.

Wanted three colourful flower arrangements as a thank you for staff and spoke to the owner who suggested baskets as they were easier for staff to carry. Paid fr these including delivery.
What we received were an insult to staff - poorly arranged and almost unsightly and only small amount of blooms. No flowers at all in one which had unopened lillies in it. We could have got better arrangements for $15.00 from the local service service station.
When we complained the owner said "what do you want me to do about it". She really did not care. When we said we could get better than that a a local supermarket she said "I don't think so"
We ended up throwing them out and purchasing more from another florist.
