Was about to order our yearly load of firewood when it occurred to me that, if I ordered 2t in one hit instead of one it was wrong to pay for 2 lots of delivery.
Rang the office and asked, only to be patronised by the most disagreeable twit imaginable.
Wouldn't give a reason, and wouldn't understand my point.
"But I'm happy for you to ask!", she said sarcastically.
"I'm happy to not give you my money!", I responded.
Lost a long-term customer.
