Mt Druitt Veterinary Clinic
Your friendly and caring vet.Mt Druitt Veterinary Clinic was established in 1972 by Dr Thomas and Dr Stewart and has been serving the Mount Druitt community for over 40 years. In January 2013, Dr Stewart announced his retirement and passed the reigns to Dr Vicky and Louise ? long time employees who could not bear to part with the clients and furry friends alike, or the staff who they consider part of the family. They lovingly maintain the clinic with the same devotion that Dr Stewart and Dr Thomas had for years.
All members of staff at Mt Druitt Vet continue the strong tradition of quality family pet care and are honest, friendly and caring.
We enjoy being part of the local community, last year sponsoring the Western City Tigers Junior Rugby League under 10's. We're proudly integrated with the RSPCA, Blacktown Pound, Cat Protection Society, National Desexing Network, and other welfare organisations as we work together to help with stray animal overpopulation in Western Sydney.
We are all pet owners ourselves, have loved and lost, and know the care and responsibility this entails- which is why we're dedicated to ensuring your pets are healthy and ...read more

My parents first took our pets to this surgery back in the 70's and to this day they are still customers. Having grown up in Mt Druitt and long since moved out of the area I too still use and recommend Mt Druitt Vet Clinic to my friends. I travel to the clinic due to the staff knowledge and their compassion and caring nature towards all our "fur kids". Can't recommend highly enough!
I travel from the mountains to bring my dog to this vet. They are compassionate and caring. Years ago when I was short of money they made sure my dog was still given treatment. They advise with great honesty. When other vets have insisted on tests and further expensive treatments these guys have kept it simple, affordable and effective.
I phoned to enquire re pricing for vaccinations and was speechless when quoted the cost of vaccinations. Why can some Vet Surgeries vaccinate a medium sized dog at a total cost of $55.00 and this practice and some other charge so much. I cannot recommend enough to phone around until you find one who is not going to ask you to pay their exorbitant fees to treat your pets
Dear Willow01, to avoid confusion- our vaccination fees are quite generous- normally $69.30 for a C3 adult dog vaccination including a vet consultation (and LESS than $55 for a parvac vaccination!) and drops down to $49.50 when the vaccination is done at the same time as surgery (such as routine desexing). The fees also drop down to as less than $40.00 for puppy litter rates (4 or more puppies)! :)
