The MTA training and employment centre should be a kind and respectful place for apprentices to learn about their chosen Automotive trade, and apprentices should be reasonably quickly placed into a host employer after initial training, sadly this is not the case, the lecturers are often rude, treat you like a bunch of dumb kids, often with sarcastic attitudes and are extremely discouraging for anyone with a real passion for the section of this industry they want to learn/work in. Would not recommend to anyone least of all someone looking for an automotive apprenticeship. Poor communication. Poor treatment of apprentices. I would also like to mention that while you are in training you have the option to work on your own car, however if the lecturer finds your car to be unroadworthy, and is temporarily unfixable, you will have to find another way home as they will forcefully "impound" it until the vehicle is deemed to be safe again.
