Mud Hut Motel

Centrally located above ground accommodation in Coober Pedy.

Built of rammed earth in a style uniquely Australian, the Mud Hut Hotel offers excellent three and half and four star accommodation at reasonable rates. Built in 1993 the motel offers quiet, friendly accommodation in the heart of Opal country - Coober Pedy. Parking is outside your door, rooms are air conditioned, we have an onsite laundry and well behaved pets are welcome on site, but strictly not inside the rooms. Our dining room is open for breakfast daily from 7am to 9am. Free airport shuttle and late check-ins are available for guests upon prior arrangement.

If you don't want to have the underground accomodation experience, like my wife, this is probably the place to stay in Coober Pedy. Very comfortable, clean and modern.
A little over priced, however most accomodation is in Coober Pedy.
