Will never go back. I entered the empty coffee shop one morning to grab a quick bite and coffee before work. The wait staff was rude and unfriendly. Staff had a bad attitude and should avoid customer service roles. I ordered a coffee and raisin toast because I was in a rush. I figured it was my best option because it was easy and I was in a hurry. 25 minutes later I was served a burnt, scalding coffee and 5 minutes after that I got my toast. Appalling considering I was the only customer there!
It's under new management since this review was posted. A far better experience would be had upon your return
My good friend from Arundel and I decided to go to Mudgee Bah Coffee shop in Mudgeeraba for afternoon tea after getting our hair done today. I am a local and like taking family and friends so new to me places are always interesting. We arrived around 2pm and I picked up a couple of menus to 'suss them out' for future reference, before we could take a seat among other patrons they swooped upon us and told us in no uncertain times we could not eat there, too late the staff had gone. Now, I would have thought having a cabinet with cakes etc., visible it would not have been too hard to greet us as welcome guests and tell us we were too late for cooked food but we would be most welcome to have afternoon tea, especially as the closing time was 4pm. But no, we were almost thrown out as social pariahs and will NEVER patronise the place again and will be advising others not to other. This is a great little spot in Mudgeeraba and quite popular with the locals. The mocha and cuppacino we ordered were lovely and the staff are really friendly. There's indoor and outdoor seating, covered outdoor and large table options inside. The local art on the walls is great - would definitely go again and make a local haunt.
