Muharam Cafe

Small, friendly cafe opposite IGA on Burwood Rd. There are several gluten free options. Mexican bowl was good and refreshing. Big breakfast was very average- very salty and sour, chicken avocado sandwich was ok. Coffee was ok. Prices were on a higher end.

Muharam is a good choice for a cosy and comfortable café if you're after a nice and relaxed catch up with friends without the very long wait. I really like their innovative décor with comfy seating. I ordered the red velvet pancakes to share. Pancakes were soft and moist. It is complemented with a rich pot of chocolate sauce. However, I personally prefer a little less cream cheese. Overall great service and friendly staff.

A cute little cafe nestled near burwood rd/ power st. Thsi cafe is run by a bunch of very friendly young staff. They had a few teething problems initially but I find myself going back there and more lately. Good service, good coffee, good food. It's starting to get quite popular but is definitely the best coffee in the area. I use it mainly for takeaway but it does have some nice wooden tables to just relax and enjoy your coffee/meal on. It definitely has a unique feel to it, earthy and laidback, but it works.
