Welcome to the Mulgrave Farmers Market, a breath of fresh air in the south-eastern suburbs. Every Sunday from late March, pending council approval, this market will host a lively selection of more than 40 stallholders selling everything from seasonal fruit and vegetables to fresh-cut flowers.
You'll pay less because you buy direct from the producers. Plus, you'll enjoy the added satisfaction of meeting the people who grow your food, as well as shopping in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. The market will also be a fun and vibrant community hub with a kiddie's area, music, community events and bagfuls of bonhomie. Speaking of which, please bring your own bags because none will be supplied.
Every dollar raised from the market will help fund charitable projects supported by the Wise Foundation. So bring your kids, coax your neighbours, soak in the village atmosphere and enjoy a rare occasion where you can honestly say, "every one is a winner".

This is a nice local market. There are the usual fresh fruit and vegetables, hot snacks, coffees and crafts here, but also some unique stalls. Eucalyptus goods, fine timber work, home furnishings, Vegan nail polish, natural locally produced essential oils and some meticulous craft work. It's not extensive and has a great relaxed feel to it. A coin donation on entry is quite appropriate to support this market. Find it at the Body SHop buildings near the corner of Wellington Road and Jackson's Road.
