Mulia Piano Studio

Fonda Mulia (DMUS, BMUS, LMUS), the principal of this studio, has been teaching piano since a young age. She is a Qualified and Experienced Piano Tutor with more than 25 years experience, who teaches ALL Levels and ALL Ages - from Beginners to Advanced Level Students (PRELIMINARY to DIPLOMA Level).

Her passion in music has brought her to Sydney to further music studies in the Australian Institute of Music, majoring in piano performance, under Dr. Nikolai Sokolov and Irina Klamka. She graduated from Bachelor of Music with Distinction and passed the LMUSA (LICENTIATE OF MUSIC AUSTRALIA) exam succesfully.

Fonda Mulia has Unique Teaching Methods - Emphasizing on Proper Posture with Hands, Finger, Wrist, Elbow and Arm Position as one unity, Piano Technique, Sound Production, Memory Skills, Sight Reading, Aural and Theory of Music.

Most of her students participated in the AMEB exams every six months or at least every one year, as well as in piano competitions (St. George Eisteddfod, Ryde Eisteddfod, Sydney Eisteddfod etc). Her teaching strategy has shown incredible and outstanding results in her students' exams with majority of students passed with Honour and High Distinction. Her high achieving students regularly won prizes in the local competitions with one got a FULL music scholarship to TARA Anglican School for Girls in North Parramatta.

Her studio is located in North Rocks, close to Santa Monica Catholic Primary School.

Lesson is tailor made, usually once a week. Beginner can start with 30 minutes lesson and gradually increase the time to 45 or 60 minutes lesson if necessary.

For exam purposes, the lesson is either 45 minutes or 60 minutes.
