Mundawora is a 50-hectare vineyard property five kilometres north of Clare, close to the Clare racecourse and wineries.A permanent water hole on the property was once a campsite for famous South Australian explorer John Horrocks and the magnificent gums continue to provide shade for travellers and tourists alike.The owners live in the original homestead and nearby stone farm buildings have been converted into a row of four adjoining self-contained cottages. Reminiscent of an intriguing history the accommodation has a colonial style, yet caters to the modern needs of today’s guests.The cottages each have one or two bedrooms, and booked together are ideal for groups of up to ten guests. Couples can book a single cottage and have private facilities.Outdoor barbecue and dining facilities are provided, and use of the supa grass tennis court is encouraged.
