From the time it opened its doors in April 2010,MUNDO CHURRASCO RESTAURANT AND BAR has been providing customers with its own special style of Brazilian Barbecue.
At a set price, it is possible to taste many different cuts of beef, pork, lamb, chicken, special sausages and chicken hearts. These come directly from the barbeque on long skewers to be carved individually for every diner. the side dishes include a selection of salad, Pao de Queijo (gluten free cheese bread) vinaigrette, farofa to sprinkle on the meat for added flavour and texture, together with seasonal offerings.

Went here last Friday with a group of friends and we were rather disappointed. We sat for a while before we had to grab someone to start getting food to our table.
Someone had knocked over a glass of wine on our table and the waitress stopped and looked but didn't offer any assistance nor did it wipe down the table or floor. We resorted to cleaning up the spilt wine ourselves with the serviettes we had - and had to ask for extras.
Each sitting is suppose to go for about 1.5 hours lucky for us this was not the case because it took so long for each server to come around to our table. ...read more
For starters this was the first large restaurant I have ever been to where the owner actually walked around every table to ensure we were all being looked after. Very unusual I thought but also very welcome.
My family went here for Sat Lunch. $30pp for sides and all you can eat BBQ. The sides were nothing fantastic (green salad, coleslaw, fried finger foods) but they were tasty enough and there was enough for everyone and they happily catered for Dairy Intolerant people. Speaking of allergies they also had the entire menu on a place card listing Gluten and dairy free foods. Very good I thought.

If you haven't tried churasco (Brazillian BBQ) yet, then you are in for a treat. Yes, you do get salads & sides. And yes, there are vegetarian options (though you'd have to be ok with watching meat carved in front of you). But the focus of this restaurant is delicously barbequed meat. The friendly staff come around with great big hunks of char-grilled salted & flavoured meats, and carve off bits for you on request. Its an all-you-can eat affair, perfect for large groups, though hubby & I have gone several times as a couple and still had a great night. The staff are very attentive and helpful, the restaurant decore is tasteful, and the food is amazing - definitely worth a visit!
