Murphy's Creek Escape is an exciting waterfront camping park 20 minutes from Toowoomba and one and a half hours from Brisbane. Generous sized powered and un-powered sites and group camping areas all in a natural bush setting.Take your time to explore the White Mountain State Forest, take a dip in the spring fed creek, barbecue or picnic, relax under a tree with a book, or cook a damper and spin a yarn around your own camp fire. Dogs are allowed. Numerous bird species fill the air with their calls.Facilities include ablutions, barbecue area, shop (ice, firewood, basic stores), and washing machines.Activities available include hiking, bird watching, four wheel driving, horse riding, orienteering, camping, painting, abseiling, and swimming.Murphy's Creek Escape is close to a variety of tourist attractions.
