Muru Mittigar

Muru Mittigar means Pathway to Friends in the Darug language and is an excellent experiential resource for anyone looking at getting real insight into Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, with Elders, local and travelling Indigenous Australians sharing their knowledge on bush tucker, cultural norms, the Dreaming and musical instruments. We visited as a school group and loved it and have been going back every year since. If you teach Indigenous issues, or cover pre-1900s Australian History, or even the more modern aspects of colonisation this venue is well worth the visit.
