Rang up and got a quote for tyres and was quoted $100 per tyre. When I arrived the next day the guy had an aggravated and unwelcoming demeanor about him. May have misread his body language but I doubt it. He told me that the tyres would cost $140 per tyre. I asked what had changed in the last two days and he told me it was my fault I must have given him the wrong size which I know for a fact I didn't as I was reading it to him directly from the tyre. I asked if he could do a better price on the new quote he gave me and he told me to go to Bridgestone. T0o be honest I am so glad he told me that because when I did I actually felt welcomed there and they did a great job. Would never, ever,ever,ever go back to this place even if I needed work done and they could do the best price in town I would never return here.
My partner and I had a lot of trouble with our car last year and Kmart Tyre and Auto went well above and beyond to get our car back up and running again even footing the bill of a tow truck and coming to our home when the issue couldnt be fixed - it eventually was fixed and turned out to be bad fuel from a nearby petrol station. I would definitely recommend these guys, they were life savers.
Sounds like a likely excuse for they just didn't know what they were doing and probably made the matter worse. Is there evidence of bad fuel from that petrol station? Why is it that your car is the only car that got a bad dose of fuel?
