I came here for a pink slip inspection and failed because my tyres were "damaged". I don't drive my car much and it is still relatively new so my gut instinct told me to get a second opinion. I told the guys there I would take it to another mechanic to get new tyres but they kept pressuring me to get my tyres changed right there and then. They said anything they could to try make me change 2 tyres - saying they will beat any price etc.
I went to another mechanic and paid for another inspection and passed! After, I told the guy what happen and laughed!! They guy said my tyres are in good condition and shouldn't have failed!!
They cost me $37 for nothing!!

NeveR go here. Booked an inspection. Turned up and was told that my appointment was cancelled. They claimed that they rang up all 3 other customers that their inspection was cancelled as well. All they could say was sorry and call back on monday.Please avoid if u don't want to waste your time on mediocre service

I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and helpful the team here were. After mistakingly booking in at the North Ryde Auto Centre instead of the Macquarie centre one, the Macquarie boys squeezed me in and were very accommodating. Very refreshing! Ill be getting all services done here from now on.

Competitively-priced and hassle-free service. Use Shell synthetic oil; so decent quality fluids. Advised against brake pads in the current service, which was appreciated. Text message and phone call to advise completion was great.



Other than a not particularly-warm welcome, can't fault them.



FYI pricing was for a 1.6 hour service on a 4-cyl; inc spark plugs, filter, fluids etc, it was ~$240 inc GST. I was quoted by one other shop at "around $400".
