Compared to my previous banks like westpac, st.george bank, NAB haymarket branch is the worst. Staff I am dealing with are careless about customers. They made mistakes again, again, and again, never ending.....because they don't care!
If you have large amount of money, should be very careful. From my experience, your interest and other benefit will be a loss because of their careless mistakes. Loss of money and headache, really not worth it.
I think I've been lucky, as I've never had such bad experiences as previous reviewer!! The branch is small-medium size and I have found staff to be friendly and helpful. Nothing to rave about, nothing to complain about. They could do with a few more ATMs out the front. There is only one and more often than not a que.
I am not with NAB but i often need to deposit money into other NAB accounts. I find the NAB branches all very good and professional - EXCEPT for the Haymarket branch in sydney CBD. Every single time I go there (which is not anymore) all the staff all just sit around gossiping with each other and ignore the customer. I have stood in line watching as them, instead of serving the next customer in line, choose to finish off their giggly conversation with their co-worker before they even look at the next customer. And while they are serving you they are STILL having childish conversation with their co-workers. I have no confidence when I enter this branch. The while place feels like a primary school and the kids are now running the place. It's amazing that the management can not recognise that their staff have no sense of professionalism and maturity.
