Naked Japan

I had eaten at the popular Misuzus Japanese restaurant for years until a friend of mine suggested that we check out Naked Japan which is situated only a short stroll down along Victoria Avenue. The place was already buzzing when we arrived and I was lucky that my friend had reserved a table outside, giving us the opportunity to soak up the warm summer weather. After ordering a glass of Marlborough Sav Blanc (at $6 a glass which I found extremely reasonable), we decided on a chicken teriyaki and vegetarian curry, both of which were infused with some exciting flavours. To accompany this, we ordered a delicious bowl of steamed spinach served with a sweet brown sauce which I highly recommend. To top the night off, the waiter staff were efficient, friendly and obliging, making the night a wonderful and relaxing experience.
