I travelled to Nepal in April 2014, Declared a drum coming through customs. The drum was treated and customs handed it to Australia post to be delivered on 13 of May it was never delivered. I went to police and they said I was entitled to know who the contractor was that worked for Australia post and supposably delivered it, the tracking number states that they dropped it off with no signature needed. I payed a lot of money for this drum( no a cheap drum) and for it to be cleaned and delivered. But when contacting Australia customs and Australia post ," nothing but the run around, So much for doing the write thing to protect Australia and declaring. Still nothing. Litigation has to be next for compensation.
