Nando's
Broadway Shopping Centre has recently revamped its dining precinct, and with it comes a new Nando's restaurant. It has a modern, low-light ambiance which matches the atmosphere of the whole floor without departing too much from their usual look and feel.
There are a lot of seating configurations, both inside the store exclusively for Nando's customers, and outside at the shopping centre's walkway. It has normal tables as well as bar tables and stools and they are all all very spacious.
I visited this place on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty. I ordered the thigh slaw pita and it tasted quite alright. The chips, however, were actually bit stale. Fortunately, they have self-serve condiments, which serve as a lifesaver for these unusually lacklustre food.
The staff was courteous although they could have been more prompt. Overall, it wasn't the best Nando's restaurant I've been to and they can probably do better to raise the bar.
Having tried Nando's for the first time I Broadway I found it was nothing special for how expensive the menu is. The wait time is a little too long for what is advertised as a fast food chain. Conveniently located in the Broadway Food Court although borderline average as are most of the food outlets in this food court. Not one for me.
