Their service is an illusion! The staff were very helpful in assisting us to select our tiles. We gave them the dimensions of the two rooms and they ordered the tiles. We were told we would have them in two weeks. We had to keep ringing them to find out where our order was. They don't ring back regardless of what they said. Six weeks later we finally collected the tiles. Because of the delay in delivery, our tiler had other jobs and our installation was delayed. We ended up with 6 boxes too many and now they won't take them back and refund us because their policy is to have them returned in 30 days. Their prices may be affordable but the service is completely unsatisfactory and not worth the cost.
We had a terrible experience with National Tiles in Dandenong. We bought two different types of tiles which had to be ready for pick up in 5 days. We made 5 phone calls since and every time were told that tiles were not available yet. 2 weeks later we were told that it will take another 2 weeks to be delivered! Subsequently we had to cancel trade people and live without a bathroom for another month. On another note the claim of beating any written quote by 10%. We presented a written quote from another store which was completely ignored. Would never deal with National tiles again and thinking of complaining to consumer rights.
Rude unhelpful service that was unbelievable. So disappointed with their lack of customer service. After waiting for over 30 minutes for the manager to give "the price" on timber flooring he was so rude and refused to give a price for a house lot unless we purchased that day. The sales pressure was ridiculous even after we told him that the house was not started yet and we were only interested in a quote he was arrogant and refused to help us. We obviously walked out and thankfully went elsewhere.
