Bought some meat from this butcher at Knox Shopping Centre. Saw lamb loin chops in the display cabinet. Asked for eight from the front tray. I insisted I wanted the eight from the front tray. The staff who served me was OK with that but the two other staffs who presumably ran the joint went on an odd episode. Strange behaviour toward a customer.
Similarly, I then ordered some belly pork strips. I wanted the ones with least fat which meant opening a new tray. More odd stares from the two other staffs.
Won't buy from them again.
If the butcher puts the meat on display then I am entitled to ask for the precise cuts. If Norm Oliver doesn't want to open new trays then don't put the meat on display.
