NEIL HAMILTON MOTORS

Worst mechanic I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
I took my Holden ute in to them after what I suspected was blown head gasket.
They took three weeks to get back to me to tell me that the gaskets are stuffed and it was not worth paying to fix them.
They charged me $550 and lost important parts of the engine like the radiator (seriously they lost the radiator) when disassembling to check the gaskets.
They also "lost" two of my ladders which were on the roof racks. They said they took them off so they wouldn't get stolen, then they lost them anyway.
They didn't offer to pay for the ladders they lost.
So to summarise; my experience was a total nightmare. Don't go here if you want a good job done.

Astonishingly Terrible customer service.

Customer service is terrible, the boss in there handles most of it and it's like he's afraid he'll run out of words if he says too many. It's borderline rude. Not to mention the sheer lack of transparency and contact. They tell you one thing and do another, time and time and time again, "It'll be ready tomorrow" they say, and when you arrive tomorrow, they giggle about your wishes to collect your car like you were told and tell you to return next week.

i was refered to neil hamilton motors by a friend upon arrival i was greated by mick explained to him what was wrong and before he even had a look at my car told me exactly what it was and the steps needed to take to fix the problem also adv him that i was not at my financial best and was more than happy to help me out as best as he could and every step of the way checking with me if there was something extra to be done unlike others who go ahead and just change what needs to be done and then charge you thru the roof once they are done.. very happy with the job car has never ran better highly recomend neil hamilton motors

I was first referred to Neil Hamilton Motors about ten years ago when my previous mechanic left the business and since then i have found them to be honest, reliable and knowledgeable. Most of the work on my cars over this time have been done efficiently by either the boss himself or his main mechanic, with both happy to give me a lift home when i need to leave the car and to pick me up when it is ready, which is always when they say it will be. If there is any unexpected problem they always ring me and give me advice which balances cost, wisdom and necessity, allowing me to consider my options and trust their assessment. Lastly, if there any unexpected problems, which have been few over the years, they are only too willing to rectify them, on the spot if possible and without further charge where applicable.
