Poor engine build. paid $5500 for rebuild only to get rubbish.
Has a 289 v8 rebuilt last year, engine blow intake manifold gasket plus leaking water from head bolts.
Pulled valley off only to find valley no machined, Pulled heads only to find broken valve spring, no machine of heads, Incorrect machining of valve guides.
Incorrect fitting of valve spring spacers, incorrect seating of seats.
Total waste of money. cost extra $8000 to have the hold engine rebuilt again.
I was new to the area and I needed my car repaired urgently,I called in and spoke to the man and he came out ,looked at my car told me upfront what the problem is and how much it'd cost,booked my car in,then offered a free pickup and delivery of my vechile..how great is that!when my car went in he found a further pronblem ,but rang me to ask if I'd like it done as well,plus the additional cost..how good is that..great customer service! plus no sirprises when you get the final bill !! he told me about all the additional services that provide,so I'll be using them to do my rego inspections and serving from now on.I think the prices were competitive,reasonable for the work done.My overall feeling was yep these guys are really helpful,and genuine,I would recommend them to my friends for sure!
