Nepean Shores Resort

I'll start by saying we stay in cabins regularly, especially for my work, from Kingaroy to Toowoomba to Noosa and I have never stayed in a worst cabin. Nepean Shores is in a great location across the road from the banks of Nepean River, with beautiful walks. The park itself looks good with good security and amenities. However, on entering our cabin I was dismayed at the state of the carpets, presentation in general and cleanliness, or lack of. Carpets were stained beyond belief, ugly black stains all over, and I mean ALL OVER. Kitchen benches had human hair on them, long black hairs, none of us have long black hair so it wasn't ours. Walls were damaged with some attempts of repair, others they didn't even bother. The worst beds I have ever slept in, springs totally gone. We entered the unit after hours on Friday, with a wedding to attend to on Saturday and late return on Sat night, and Blue Mountains trip on Sunday, I could only bring it to their attention on Monday ...read more

If you are looking for cheap accommodation this is it. We stayed here after an event. Good for catering for big to small groups. Clean and linen provided.



Nice surrounds and friendly staff - noise must be maintained after dark.
