The meal we had last night was terrible.. We eat at this hotel fairly regularly and it is such a shame the meals are so mediocre. It is lovely Pub and the situation is great but the meals are very average.

Last night we had trout cutlets which was just trout bones. There was at least 100 bones in the piece I had and also one of our mainland visitors had it and the same thing, she nearly choked on the bones. A plate of chips, a plate of fish bones and the salad was very fresh but undressed. $23.99 for a plate of fish bones.

I just wish this Pub would pay attention to their meals as I'm certain if they did, they would find patrons drink more wines and beers.

I am a Chef myself and have own and operated Pubs that produce great meals and the money pours in as patrons are inclined to sit and drink longer.
