Despite common beliefs, counselling is not just about listening. It is a two way street. When a counsellor ONLY asks questions, clients may feel intimidated much like in an exam or test, where the fear of having the right answer can hinder self-discovery and block access to the core issues.

Thanks to vast life experience gathered by living in a few countries while working in varied professions, my approach is very down to earth and can be somewhat unconventional. To me counselling is about the reflection of feelings. I see myself as a mirror in which clients can see their thoughts and beliefs.

The areas I specialize in are Couples Counselling, Gambling and Other Addictions as well as group therapy for men.

Each client requires a different approach. The reason behind this is that every person has a unique belief system and processes emotions differently. I use a flexible and integrative approach which consists of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Neuron Linguistic Programming.

We are located in Surrey Hills, and provide services to the entire Melbourne Metropolitan Region including Balwyn, Blackburn, Box Hill, Camberwell, Canterbury, Hawthorn, Kew and South Yarra.
