New Shanghai Chinese Restaurant

One of the best restaurants in Newcastle for traditional Chinese cuisine. Food is always fresh and atmosphere is relaxing especially if you sit outside under the stars.

It was mediocre. My boyfriend and I ordered an entree each and a main but I received my entree about 25 minutes before my boyfriend received his. We felt pretty ignored by staff who brought out the order for the table next to us (who they gave water on arrival, we had not received he same courtesy) before our order when we had got there 30 mins before them. My chicken and corn soup was thick and taste less, but an added bonus was that the only chicken in the soup was grissle. They finally came over 25 minutes after I had reviewed my entree to ask what we had received. They just didn't seem to understand customer service.
