Corner Mt Alexander Road and Margaret Street, Moonee Ponds. Once the building was a milk bar but today it is one of the best and thus busiest burger joints around. A bit dearer than you find at a fish and chip chop but their burgers leave the fast food outlet's best far far behind.
Decided to give this place a try for dinner for a table of three. We opted to dine in. Ordered the ex-patriot, southern beef burger and the Broadway burgers with the large chips. Quick turn around. We waited for a while for our burgers to come out. They took our order wrong and made it takeaway. We had to reorder again but staff was apologetic. Overall, average burgers and chips. Probably would come back again for a quick meal.
Burger/cafe on a corner intersection of mount Alexander road of Moonee Ponds. Offers both indoors & outdoor seatings. I had the beef burger, was ok. The other burger ordered was the eye fillet burger this was very nice, probably only lacking a bit of salt to it for it to be just perfect. The chips was crispy only downfall was they were still frozen. Management friendly and approachable and open to suggestions on popular burgers.
