This place is really hidden away and not easy to find. We booked it because it was supposedly 200 metres from the raceourse , which ended up being about 2 or 3kms. Access was difficult and you have park in adjacent suburban streets unless u pay for one of the few secure spaces. But to be fair , the place was clean, the host was friendly and helpful and they did allow us early check in. It is also in walking distance from Broadmeadow station. It was probably not the best value at $165, but did suit our purpose.
Great Value Apartments!
I was very happy with my stay here. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels and a very comfortable bed with pristine white sheets. Bathroom and cooking facilities all good. The building was a little hard to find first time round but written directions on the booking print-out were pretty straight-forward. It's an out-of-the-way location and has unusual reception-less access. Follow the directions and it all works fine. I also needed a bit of help accessing the parking facilities and got good, pleasant phone support. For budget accommodation at this price I was pleasantly surprised. It's clean, comfortable and central. I'd definitely stay there again.

Management:
Terrible.
The directions are confusing. Access is appalling. I arrived at night and had to work out a security system which could not be seen in the dark. There is no off street parking undercover as advertised. The place is unmanned so there is noone to resolve problems. The staff are abrupt. After all the problems (30 mins) trying to get in, the person asked me if I wanted to use the garage. I said yes, then she told me the charge was $7 - my only option then was to drive around into the main street and park there.
Then the next day, I receive an email telling me I had to pay for a towel that was missing. There was only one towl in the place - no bath mat.
Also no milk for tea and coffee.
KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
The problem with this place is that all problems belong to someone else. Had I got some sympathetic, caring and understaning support, I would not have written this post. The five star rating does not include a star for listening and caring service. I expect that, regardless of the star rating.
If you like dealing with people that blame the guests for everything, this place if for you. If you want a place that listens, understands and knows what faults exist with want to fix them - then find somewhere else to stay.
