Parking ticket for 15 mins $88 !. Retailers you should change your parking system. The signs put up by Australian National Car Parks are NOT sufficient to alert you that you have to display a ticket. I will not be paying this ticket. ANC should be doing a lot more effort to make signage bigger and more obvious - a boom barrier and machines as you enter, or "Pay and Display" signs in walkways so that they are in your face, or marking your tyres and coming back after the 2 hour free period is up.
I totally agree. The very nature of this parking system is nothing short of revenue raising. A $3 carton of milk from Woolworths that took 3 mins to buy should not cost $88. Seems the parking attendant is a unrelenting predator that knows when to pounce as I counted 3 other cars in just my row (Friday 12Aug11 lunchtime) with tickets. Please tell your co-tenants you have just lost another Customer as I'm certainly going to advise my work mates not to go there again
