Was shocked to see old reviews from 10 years ago displayed ! A different business ! Mark who now runs it , is eminently honest, capable, knowledgeable, and I will follow to his new address. I prefer to deal with the organ grinder, who knows what he is talking about, and gets things done efficiently and economically.

We are Company and get all our Car and Truck Tyres and Car services through Newlands Tyres. The price and service is always good as well as the good advice given by them being honest and very trustworthy. We highly recommend Newlands Tyres as we have been extremely happy for many years now.

Worst I have ever experienced!

Got brakes, tyres and wheel alignment done...



1. Asked them to machine front and rear discs... they only machined the front but charged me both! and when i re-inspected them my self, found they were under size and had to buy new discs! got my rear discs machined at another shop.. much better service.

2. I suggested I needed caliper overhaul.. they told me no need to..I discovered rear calipers seized! ended up doing it my self.

3. Asked them to flush brake fluid... right rear caliper bleed nipple was seized... when i got it open dirty fluid came out... was never bled!

4. Asked them to adjust hand brake... discovered it was only working on one wheel!

5. Had a wheel alignment done.. car is still pulling to the left!



I give them half a star because I can't post review without giving them something... so half a star for cheap tyres!
