Terrific customer service. I ordered helium balloons online and picked up same day without any issue. The next day they called me just to check if I was happy with everything. Was a genuine call to make sure their customer was happy! Who does that anymore?

My experience with News King at Westfield Bondi Junction has always been some kind of a miss. I go here numerous times but the staffs are always too prompt and direct it feels like they are quite lacking in the friendly department. The last time around I bought a lottery ticket and after I have paid, the staff did not give me the ticket. When I said to the staff that I have not had the ticket, he told me that he already gave it to me. I had to show the content of my wallet before I had to point to the cash register on the other table where the ticket was. His only response was Oh. Good luck without any apology.

Even though this might have been an isolated incident, the feeling is pretty much similar every time I go there.

Atmosphere wise, the shop was a little bit dimly lit and doesn't feel inviting. It does seem to stock a lot of products though.
