Stay away from this place!! It is the worst example of customer service in Australia I have experienced for the six years of living in the country. I only went to News Link Sydney Central Station to buy a bus ticket but ended up abused by their staff member, recieved wrong directions, and left feeling miserable and in tears.
Horibble customer service especially from staff at counter was so rude and horrible to me throughout the entire process that i had to hold back tears till i left the shop, think about who your hiring newslink or you will have no customers, was a truly horrible experience coming into your shop today
This shop deserves no stars! We are tourists and gave instructions to the shop keeper to give us two return tickets to paddington - not only were we given tickets for the wrong zone, but they were actually single tickets. We only just found out when we got on the bus from the bus driver. Went back to this Newslink and asked for a refund, but were denied just because we were not given a receipt at the time. Bad impression of sydney! Will definitely not ever go back to this inn again!
Not so much a review of the store, but the fabulous Debra! I'm from Adelaide, and I have only passed through the station twice this year on my way to Newcastle and I remember her from my last visit 2 months ago. She is delightful, always plesant, and lovely to every customer she serves, even when faced with a long queue. Ill be looking for her smiling face on my next trip through. I hope this review gets passed on to her superiors.
