This Occupational Therapy practice provides assistance to the disabled and older adult population in Sydney's inner east and western suburbs. We visit a persons home/workplace to evaluate any safety or performance deficits due to environment or technique problems. We aim to rectify functional problems by advising on equipment which may make an activity safer or more achievable. The installation of environmental modifications can enhance performance. This may be as simple as a rail in the shower or as detailed as an over bath shower removal and creation of a hob free shower. If the way you are going about your daily activities is impacting on performance capacity we may be able to suggest alternative techniques.
For the older population we believe that we assist relatives to guide their elders through the health and community care systems with ease and confidence.
