Did alterations for my mum's wedding, Mum asked for floating sleeves to her elbow, only got them slightly below the shoulders, She didn't bring in the straps on mum's dress which lead mum to have an off the shoulder dress, which she didn't want because she's 40. My mum ended up hating the dress after alterations. Bridesmaids dresses weren't taken up like we asked, my dress wasn't taken in on the sides leaving me to pull the dress up all day. My modesty panel was added but then left the laced back to become gathered because it wasnt add properly. Our dresses were given to us unsteamed which seemed to be the easiest thing she could of done. Also got the dresses back two days before the wedding. Terrible, I had hopes of getting my dress altered by her for my formal but will be looking elsewhere for that.

I originally chose them to make my bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses mainly for the convenience factor of living close-by. The initial meeting was great - they were friendly, helped me with ideas and seemed happy enough to have my business - but that is where it stopped. I had to phone them time and time again over a 5 week period for the fabric samples I had ordered and I didn't even receive the courtesy of a single reply to the email and online communications I sent them. In the end I gave up chasing them and went somewhere else and I'm so glad I did. I needed a reliable dressmaker and I certainly didn't get that from this business.

It's marvellous to find a local designer who can bring your clothes dreams to life and make sure they look great on you. Thank you for my dream outfit!

I must say what a wonderful professional person this dressmaker is. I recently had my daughters formal dress design and made from scratch. The dress was made to fit my daughters figure to perfection,the hand beading was an absolute stand out. She chose to have this dress hand made as my daughter had wanted something for her formal that was one of a kind and it truly was. We were very happy with the time it took to make the dress and the dressmaker was always in touch with how the dress was progressing and we were contacted on a regular basis for dress fittings. I do fully recommend this dressmaker, she is a lovely kind person and very approachable, she was always understanding with how we wanted the dress made and always very knowledgeable with her dressmaking skills and suggestions. I enlisted their services to make basic alterations to my wedding dress for my October 2011 wedding. I feel compelled to warn any brides considering utilizing their services for alterations to their wedding dress. I entrusted them with my Rachel Gilbert wedding gown and paid close to $200 for it to be butchered.
