Nireeda Apartments

Stayed at the Apartments while I was doing a course at the Gordon. Apartments had full kitchens and were quite large. Wifi was also available throughout the building and the location was very central. It is close to the train station so was able to walk down. Apartments were clean and staff were friendly. They have coin operated laundry machines on site so this made my life easier. Good for taking walks along the waterfront and for shopping. Will be returning in the future as my studies progress.

Nireeda was adequate at a pinch. But not much more for the price. I don't like giving negative reviews, but it's good to warn people. My partner and I payed premium nightly rates (for the region). The apartment was relatively clean, although room for improvement (rinse out the kettle and wash the crockery before use). The space was cramped and pokey. The layout was almost eccentric - like a strange working class apartment in an overcrowded city like Paris. We were on the top level of the building, which meant a lot of stairs because there is no elevator. The airconditioner was positioned in the stairwell of the apartment, so there is only the ability to cool/heat one focused area at a time. The bathroom was not designed for large people - I'm about average size and I had trouble using the shower because of the tiny dimensions. If this place was not as pricey, I'd actually recommend it.
