To anyone who wants to buy a Scoopon voucher or to go out there DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF OR YOUR CHILD!
What a complete waste, I bought a voucher from Scoopon for $19 I didn't get a chance to visit the centre with my whole family so I just took my 2 year old. The staff told me that it was going to be a waste as the whole pool area is used by the schools. It took me half an hour to get there so I was going for it anyway! Then the staff directed me to this tiny BORING as splash pool. The water playground wasn't switched on, apprently they do it by demand. returned to this pool for a 8th birthday party my kids were invited to. the 2 young staff that facilitated the kids activities were lovely and kind with kids obviously enjoying themselves rather than it being a drag. the outside play area is fabulous, the large bucket that fills up and tips when full is the biggest I have seen, the water seemed to cascade down drenching anyone underneath (seemed bigger than Oakleigh and Townsvile ones I have seen) and there was lots of ladders, bridges, platforms, slides etc on foam surface. in the large heated 50m outdoor swimming pool they had blow up raft with a slide for kids to balance across. there is an enormous tunnel slide about 15 metres tall at least - (says it melb biggest waterslide and I believe it) not sure when it is open and what age group is permitted but looked extreme!. lovely grass areas for sitting in sun. pool has only been open about 2 years after having a major upgrade. caf inside actually does quite ...read more
