Two years since the last reviews. Food is still quick and portions are huge, price is about $11 a serve, but I'd say quality has gone downhill. We ate in and ordered 3 bowls - Singapore Noodles, Chinese Combination and Vietnamese Kway Teow. First, I waited over 5 minutes for my Kway Teow to arrive while my family ate and had to go up and ask for it again. When it did come, the rice stick noodles were broken down to 2cm bits and the dish had soy sauce overload. I decided to send it back. The second serve was lighter on the soy sauce but the noodles were still in pieces. All three dishes had enough flavour and an acceptable amount of meat and veg, but there was a common underlying taste in each of them. I guess you have to expect that from fast noodle places. :-/ If a place does a good Kway Teow I go back. I won't bother with Yum Yum.
Thank you for providing the local community with nice noodle dishes at a great price. Centrally located and just a hop skip and jump from the grocery shop, so it is an easy grocery night dinner that we all enjoy. Sometimes parking out the front can be difficult, in peak hours, but customers can park in Safeway and walk down. It is only a tiny walk and worth it.
